So back to what the Service Squad has been up, too! Our team has definitely been making splashes in our latest projects around the Fort Worth Area. This week, we’ve featured 3 of our latest repairs that have helped homeowners have safer, happier homes. Read all about them below.
REPLACING A LEAKING HOSE BIBB IN ALEDO
For those of you that aren’t familiar with what a hose bibb is, it’s actually the faucet you find on the exterior of your hose. The reason why’s it called a hose bibb instead of just a faucet is because it’s where you usually connect your garden hose. During the winter when the weather drops below freezing, it’s essential that no water comes out of your hose bibbs unless completely necessary. If your hose bibb is left leaking, it can result in flooding and damage.
One homeowner in Aledo, Texas called us in because their old hose bibb was leaking. To make things a lot easier for our client during these cold months, we replaced it with a frost-proof hose bibb. This type does not need to be turned off during autumn and reopened in spring. Our client can just sit back and relax knowing that there will be no danger of a leaking hose bibb.
